Hay is 20 miles to the away which is famous for its book shops and antiques. It also has plenty of places for a cup of tea and a cake. The Brecon beacons national park is also nearby with its many nature walks and sites. Or take a trip up to the beach of Aberystwyth or Newquay for fish and chips, seaside attractions and perhaps even see a dolphin or 2!
